About
A free list of real gun and gear giveaways, checked by hand, with the scams kept off.
Who runs this
I'm Adam, @jackbinswitch on X. I'm a gun guy and a dad, not a company.
My timeline fills up with gun giveaways every day. Some are real brands giving away real guns. A lot of them are scams: "you won, just pay shipping," fake brand pages, "DM to claim." I got tired of sorting one from the other, so I started keeping a list. This site is that list.
I'm not a gunsmith, a lawyer or a firearms instructor, and this site doesn't pretend otherwise. I just check giveaways before I tell people to enter them.
How a giveaway gets listed
Every giveaway on the list has to pass these checks:
- Brand-run. It's run by a real, identifiable company (a manufacturer, retailer, range or publication), not a random account using a brand's name.
- Official rules. We look for posted official rules: sponsor name, dates, eligibility and how winners are picked. Listings marked Vetted are ones where we've read the rules. Listings marked "rules check pending" are real brands whose rules we haven't finished reading, and we say so on the card.
- No purchase necessary. If you have to buy something, pay a fee or "pay shipping" to enter or claim, it doesn't go on the list.
- Direct sponsor links. Every "Enter" button goes straight to the sponsor's own page or the entry form they use.
- No referral codes on entry links. We strip tracking and referral codes from entry links and never use giveaway "refer a friend" links for ourselves. We don't earn anything when you enter.
Giveaways that fail get left off. The ones that look like they'll catch people go in the scam alerts section with the reason.
Checking a giveaway doesn't make us part of it. We don't run, judge or guarantee any giveaway, and we can't promise a sponsor will follow through. Always read the official rules yourself before you enter. Real sponsors will never ask you to pay to claim a prize.
How the site pays for itself
The list is free. To cover costs, brands can pay for a featured spot, and some product pages have "Buy it" links that may earn us a commission. Paid spots are always labeled, and paying never lets a brand skip the checks above. The details are on the Affiliate & Sponsorship Disclosure page.
